Critters by the Bay

	o, what exactly is Critters by the Bay?
		Well, a long time ago, 1997 some reckon, in the area of a fog-shrouded bay in a far-off, mystical land known as Northern California, a bunch of amateur costumers with a common love of performing decided to come up with a catchy name for themselves and turn at least semi-professional. Thus was born Critters by the Bay, part hobby, part business, part true calling. Ever since, we've been providing costume characters and character performers throughout the Bay Area and parts beyond.

We entertain!

We may all look different, but there's one thing we have in common: we can't get enough attention! Wherever there's a crowd, we'll be there: clowning around in parks with kids and each other,

parading through local communities (from San Francisco to Santa Cruz), romping around at company picnics, making hospital visits, delivering flowers in the office; you never know where we'll turn up next!

	hat do we look like?
		We have a wide variety of character costumes of our own to choose from, and we're always in the process of constructing and acquiring more outfits. Of course, we're always happy to don our customer's own costumes as well. If your business has a mascot and you need an energetic, enthusiastic actor to fill the suit, you need look no further!

	hom have we performed for?
		Over the years we've appeared throughout the Bay Area as critters of our own construction or as official mascots for TV stations such as KBHK, KBWB, KNTV, KTEH and KTVU; at corporate events for companies like Sega, Microsoft, Exxon, Toys 'R' Us, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, and Longs Drugs; with many local sports teams, ranging from the National Football League, Major League Baseball, and Major League Soccer to the Women's United Soccer Association, United Soccer League and Roller Hockey International; and at places like the San Francisco Zoo, Oakland Zoo, the Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, Concord's Pixieland, the California KidsFaire, Infineon Raceway, and Paramount's Great America. We get around!
